How Does It Work?

Hide-a-Hose solves the problem of carrying and storing a central vacuum hose. Simply pull out the amount of hose you need and begin vacuuming. When you're finished, the suction from the central vacuum power unit retracts the hose.

The hose is stored in your vacuum piping; hidden in the walls, ceiling, or floor, completely out of sight. Special fittings allow the hose to take on turns and curves within the piping. A lock on the trim kit keeps the hose locked in place, whether it is fully retracted, partially released, or fully released. A switch on the trim kit allows you to easily turn on and off your central vacuum, while an RF handle kit will allow you to operate your vacuum from the handle.

When the hose is retracted and the trim kit door is closed, all that is visible is the outside door of the trim plate, giving it a neat and low profile look.

Hose lengths are customized according to the size of the floor. Each inlet can cover up to 2,300 square feet. Hide-A-Hose Central Vacuum Systems can be combined with all central vacuum power units and the existing piping in your house.
