The VacuMaid® S2400 one-piece unit houses the Ametek Lamb 7.2" premier 2-stage tangential by-pass motor - a step up from the 5.7" motor in the P110 - and electrical components in the top compartment. The middle of the unit is where the cyclonic action separates fine particles from larger debris. Fine particles are vented outside while larger debris is deposited in the dirt can below. The dirt can have a plastic liner, so debris can easily be emptied periodically.
